Over the past four years, the Pumpkin Pedaler Foundation has grossed almost $7,000, primarily through their annual signature event. They have provided funding for Autism Speaks and the Community Computer Alliance and have hosted Arts in Autism tables at events throughout Columbus. The Foundation also lobbied successfully for the passage of Ohio House Bill 350 in 2016, which eliminated line-item exclusion for autism insurance coverage. This year, proceeds of the ride will benefit arts programs for children and young adults on the autism spectrum.
