Prize Announcement: “The Pumpkin King”

Ichabod and the team are honored to present "The Pumpkin King," a piece by local mixed-media artist Daric Gill. Daric is based in Columbus, and has been involved with the Pumpkin Pedaler since the beginning. He has displayed his work internationally and has sold art on 3 continents and over 15 countries. His award winning oil paintings (The Absolutes Series) have been exhibited in such establishments as the Czong Institute for Contemporary Art Museum, South Korea, the John F. Peto Museum, New Jersey, the Edward Hopper House Museum, New York, George Billis Gallery, Los Angeles & Chelsea, New York, and the Pizzuti Collection Museum n Columbus.

He also has an internationally acclaimed line of illustrations called The ToeHeads that can be seen in the private collection of the Center of Science and Industry Museum (COSI) in Columbus - and in the private collections of previous Pumpkin Pedaler Grand Prize winners! This year, the Grand Prize winner will take home "The Pumpkin King," pictured here.
