Host Announcement: Land-Grant Brewing

It’s impossible for the Pumpkin Pedaler team to think of our ride and not think about our dear friends at Land-Grant Brewing. They were the first business to take a chance on our fledgling idea during year one, and we have been so blessed to grow up together. For the fourth year, Land-Grant will host our Franklinton stop at their Town Street taproom, which has grown to include a beer garden and stage in the previously unused lot west of the building.

Our big brother, as it were, Land-Grant opened their doors in Franklinton in October of 2014. Through a mix of community involvement, great beer (I mean, Glory? Come on), and most importantly, the best kind of people, Land-Grant quickly became a favorite spot to meet friends. They have quickly become one of the anchor businesses in East Franklinton, which over the past decade has shifted from a forgotten cluster of vacant factories into one of Columbus's most vibrant communities, home to 400 West Rich, the Columbus Idea Foundry, and the Vanderelli Room.

Land-Grant's taproom has dozens of brews on tap, including a rotating visitor from another local brewer. They feature a rotating selection of food trucks, and host the Columbus Crew's away games as passionate supporters of the soccer club. Our friends have also grown to include a location at the John Glenn Columbus International Airport, and can be found at Mapfre Stadium, Nationwide Arena, and other venues where fine beer is poured.
